COFFIN
SCRATCHERS HISTORY
Coffin
Scratchers MCC was started at a rally in June 2002
We
were all sitting around, beers in hand disillusioned with
the club we were currently members of. We weren't happy
with the way it was being run.
So,
Big Al, Linda, Dick and Dave (Blossom) thought about
starting a club of their own.
The
idea being that members would run it as a non political
and easy going side patch club.
At
our next rally the following August we had to think of a
name for the club and drew a few pictures for the patch and had a
vote. We came up with the patch and the name Coffin Scratchers
came from Linda, as it was the C.B. Handle of Linda's late Brother who
had been killed in a motorcycle accident.
So,
we all went with it. The information was passed on to Martyn,
who does a lot of leatherwork and he put the finishing
touches to the patch.
Finally
in January 2003 the club was born.
We
try to attend Rally's, Rock nights, Custom shows and have
social nights every 2nd and 4th
Saturday of the month at the Victoria Bikers Pub in
Coalville,
Leicestershire, we also try to have monthly ride outs and
we are based in Leicestershire.
